Preventative Maintenance

Tailored preventative maintenance schedules are encouraged to ensure your investment is running efficiently and effectively.It is a common misconception that maintaining your air conditioner is as simply as cleaning the filter. However, mould and bacterial can form inside your system leading to less than ideal air quality. There are also other maintenance issues that do not fall under the umbrella of your manufacturers warrant. Refrigerant charge, blocked drains, and loose electrical connections are such things that can cause damage to your system. It is recommended that a residential system be maintained on an annual basis. Commercial sites maintenance schedules will vary depending on the type of system, amount of use and the working environment. Maintenance clients also benefit from our priority response system through peak periods.

Corrosion treatment

Rust and corrosion is one of the leading causes of damage and the replacement of systems through out coastal regions. However, the regular application of treatment can add years to the life of your investment. Corrosion treatments can be applied from the point of installation and schedules can be tailored depending on exposure.

Custom made covers are also available, to protect your system from the elements, through times when the system is not in use. These covers are a perfect solution for holiday and investment homes or extended holiday periods away.

Warranty

All installations carried out are covered by a 12 month installation warranty. Most manufacturers warranty will be covered for five years in a residential application and two years on commercial. Think Cooling are a nominated warranty agent for most of the systems we supply and install. Meaning; we are your one stop specialist from point of sale, to maintenance, and warranty repair, throughout your warranty period, and into the future.

While most system will carry a five year manufacturer’s warranty, it is important that you choose a recognised and respected name when selecting, not only your system but your also your installation and support team. Where a quality manufacturer and support team may have you back up and running in days……a lesser quality product may have you waiting weeks as parts are flown in from overseas if they are available at all.
